Avvocato di strada (Onlus)
Avvocato di Strada (ONLUS) aims to: open new offices in Italian cities where homeless people live; have a documentation center on rights and social exclusion; create new publications.
The members of the Association work to: foster a common growth of experiences; share a common idea about the objectives and on the methods of intervention; reflect on social features and changes in the action; promote the exchange of information between operators from different territories to improve their skills and make them more suitable for different Italian realities.

The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA)
The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit making organisation run by and for students and recent graduates, who are interested in achieving academic and personal excellence in addition to their legal or law-related studies at university.
ELSA aims at providing its members a platform to develop their existing skills and acquire new ones, to interact with fellow students and experienced practitioners from different states and legal systems around Europe, and to be equipped for a professional life in an international environment, through mutual understanding, intercultural cooperation and the large variety of activities and projects the Association offers.
Italian Federation for Human Rights
The Italian Federation for Human Rights – Italian Helsinki Committee (under the acronym, FIDU) is a Third Sector organization, i.e., a non-profit civil society organization.
Active since 6 October 1987 as the Italian Helsinki Committee, FIDU promotes the protection of human rights as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of 1950, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights of 1966, the Helsinki Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe of 1975, the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union of 2007, and other relevant international documents. FIDU therefore intends to work to spread knowledge of human rights, monitor and report their violations, create greater awareness in public opinion, and exert influence on the States so that they comply with their own commitments on human rights.
Macedonian Yound Lawyers Association
Macedonian Young Lawyers Association (MYLA) is an independent, non-profit professional organization founded in 2003 in North Macedonia, which provides legal aid and strategically litigates to protect human rights.
Equipped with the knowledge and innovative capacities of young lawyers, MYLA promotes the rule of law and influences policy through research and advocacy. MYLA is an authorized provider of legal aid. MYLA’s pool of attorneys from all regions in Macedonia and in-house lawyers provide legal aid and representation in areas related to access to justice, human rights, anti-discrimination, legal aid for persons in extreme poverty, asylum, migration, and statelessness issues.
The organization’s work focuses on:
1) Legal aid and strategic litigation;
2) Capacity building;
3) Research, policy, and advocacy.
MYLA is actively engaged on areas that include the topics migration and asylum, statelessness, discrimination, free legal aid, trafficking of persons and smuggling, improvement of polices and legal regulations and strategies of state institutions and judiciary.
Legis (NGO)
LEGIS is a humanitarian Non-Profit Civil Society Organization that provides necessary humanitarian aid and assistance to refugees, asylum seekers, IDPs, irregular and detained migrants and people in need. It exists to protect life, alleviate suffering and oppression and ensure dignity, respect for human rights and social justice.
LEGIS provides assistance based on the needs of our target population, with respect of human rights, its principles and the principles of humanitarian work.
Its activities in the last years were focused on response to the mixed migration flows in Macedonia, as LEGIS is the first NGO to provide organized response since 2014.
LEGIS’ Members are led by faith in humanity, justice and profound dedication. They believe that with common approach they can mitigate risks and establish safe and secure environment where life in dignity thrives. They try to set examples and lead towards a better world with tolerance and diversity, with respect and endless humanity. Every action taken is according to law and legal conduct, as well as belief that every person in need can be reached out and their needs fulfilled. Also, they ensure that their activities are managed responsibly and sustainably in the interest in those in need. Finallty, they tend to take action when human rights and liberties are violated, and meet policies and practices that ensure them legal treatment with dignity and respect.
ASGI, Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration
The Association for Juridical Studies on Immigration (ASGI) is a membership-based association focusing on all legal aspects of immigration. As a pool of lawyers, academics, consultants and civil society representatives, ASGI’s expertise relates to various areas of immigration and migrants’ rights, including but not limited to antidiscrimination and xenophobia, children’s and unaccompanied minors’ rights, asylum and refugee seekers, statelessness and citizenship.
ASGI’s members provide their contribution at various levels: administrative, policy-making and legal, both in national and European contexts.
One of its recent projects aims to change the policies, regulations and practices that perpetuate the lack of a legal status by undocumented and stateless migrants. Another project has the purpose of promoting the protection of health and working conditions of migrant workers

Jean Monnet Chair ‘ProSoEULaw Abroad’
The Jean Monnet Chair “Reinforcing EU responsible global leadership: promoting human rights and democracy through solidarity for a rules-based multilateral world” (ProSoEULaw Abroad) aims to understand how the EU can play a more proactive role for a rules-based multilateral world.
The project will examine how the Union contributes to multilateralism through its external action in general and also through specific instruments such as the conclusion of bilateral and multilateral trade agreements (especially “new generation” trade agreements), promoting its values referred to in Article 2 TEU.
The Chair will consist of a range of in-depth teaching activities addressed not only to students at different levels (undergraduates, Master students, PhD students) and researchers, but also to practitioners and the civil society at large, with a specific focus on legal practitioners. Various activities and events (Conferences, Seminars, Round Tables, Winter School, Moot Court competitions) aimed at spreading the project’s main research findings will take place. The said activities will be delivered in blended modality (face to face and remotely) in order to reach the widest possible public and to allow people that are unable to take part in person to be included. At least 1.150 representatives of the civil society, students, practitioners and researchers will benefit from the Chair activities.
Jean Monnet Module ‘EU-DRAW’
Jean Monnet Module “Democracy and the Rule of Law: A New Push for European Values” (EU-DRAW), with the support of the EU for the 2022-2025 period.
Coordinated by Professor Rossana Palladino, EU-DRAW is an EU funded project aiming to promote didactic and study activities, knowledge and research on the themes of the European citizenship, the rights and duties connected to it, as well as on the common rights and values, and on effective actions to assure democracy and the rule of law within the EU, including the EU external action
Jean Monnet Module ‘WB-EUPath’
The Jean Monnet Module on “EU Integration of Western Balkans: Patterns and Issues” (WB-EUPath Module), under the coordination of the Center for European Studies (CES) of EPOKA University, will be implemented within the framework of the Master and Bachelor study programs in “Political Science and International Relations” at EPOKA University, and supported by external experts. It aims to combine theoretical and empirical knowledge to offer a comparative approach to the Western Balkan countries’ internal and regional dynamics in their EU integration paths. The goal is to provide a deeper and critical understanding of the patterns and issues dominating the WB countries’ EU integration process from the perspectives of the region itself by looking at each country’s history of integration, challenges, and prospective for EU membership.
