An important event entitled “101% Who controls your choices?” will be held at the Goce Delcev University of Stip (North Macedonia) tomorrow, May 29, 2025. The initiative, which proudly results from the collaboration of the Jean Monnet Chair EUVALWEB, under the scientific responsibility of Prof. Teresa Russo, the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salerno, and the Italian State Police, aims to increase awareness among young people about the responsible use of social media.
In particular, Italian police officers, Roberta Manzo, Vincenzo Capone and Ilenia Luca, will present Andry Odlyvanyy’s short film, which was directed by Serena Corvaglia and produced by One More Pictures with Rai Cinema in cooperation with the Postal Police. The short film, which is about the sentimental education of young people in the internet age, took first place in the sixth edition of the Venice International Film Festival’s “The Reality that does not exist” contest.
Additionally, two short films edited by students from the High School “Slavco Stojmenski” and Goce Delcev University’s Faculty of Educational Science, Stip, will be shown.
The initiative will end with an open discussion.
The Italian Ambassador in Skopje, H.E. Mr Paolo Palminteri, will also be attending the event.
Our sincere gratitude goes out to Goce Delcev University in particular, Ana Nikodinovska Krstevska, Olga Koshevaliska, Elena Maksimova, for their hospitality and willingness to provide the location and the occasion!
