In her seminar, Dr. Francesca Iervolino captivated the audience by elucidating the pragmatic implementation of European and Italian legislation concerning international protection.

The scientific outcomes of our workshop on “European Investigation Order (EIO) and the Acquisition of ‘Communications’. Analysis of Italian and European Case Law” on March 21, 2024, have truly satisfied us.
In the light of European law and Court of Justice case law, it enabled us to make sense of the various investigative activities allowed by the Italian order, as well as the concepts of data and communications in general.
It was feasible to highlight the important concerns from the perspectives of judges and lawyers, as well as students and civil society representatives, during the speakers’ and other participants’ discussions.
We appreciate our knowledgeable speakers!
