On Thursday, 11 May 2023, starting at 2.30 P.M., in Hall 4 of the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salerno, the seventh Conference of the EUVALWEB Law Clinic dedicated to “Security Standards v. Human Rights Standards in Cross-Border Police and Judicial Cooperation” and organised in cooperation with the Legal Clinic in Forensic Science and the Prison Law Course, DSG UNISA, will take place.

The Conference, introduced and chaired by Prof. Teresa Russo (EUVALWEB Chair Holder), will be divided into two sessions. The first one, dedicated to Individual Coercion and Human Rights Protection in Cross-Border Cooperation, will be animated by the speeches of Prof. Gaspare Dalia (Lecturer of Comparative Criminal Procedure Law, Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno and Member of the EUVALWEB Legal Observatory), Prof. Girolamo Daraio (Lecturer in Penitentiary Law, Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno) and Prof. Nikola Šaranović (Lecturer of the International Public Law and the Basics of the European Union Law, Faculty of Law Sciences and the Humanistic Studies, University of Donja Gorica, Legal Adviser for the EUROL3 Project, Podgorica, Montenegro, and Member of the EUVALWEB Team Chair).

The second session, devoted to the Transnational Collection and Exchange of Data and Information, Cybercrimes and the Protection of Human Rights, will see the presentations of Prof. Michele Nino (Associate Professor of International Law, Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno), Prof. Paolo Troisi (Lecturer in Criminal Procedural Law, ‘Tor Vergata’ University of Rome), Dr. Gianpaolo Nuzzo (Deputy Prosecutor of the Republic at the Court of Salerno, Computer Crime Section) and Dr. Massimiliano Mormone (Adjunct Deputy Commissioner of the Postal Police, Deputy Director of the Operational Centre for Cyber Security of Naples).

At the end of the Conference, a question-and-answer session will animate the debate.
