On Wednesday 30 April 2025, starting at 9.30 a.m., in the ‘Nicola Cilento’ hall of the University of Salerno, the 6th edition of the mocked trial ‘Una rete di sicurezza’ organised by the Jean Monnet Chair “EUVALWEB – Promoting Public Awareness on Enlargement Policy, EU Values and the Western Balkans’ Accession”, in cooperation with the Postal Police of Salerno, the Associazione Nazionale Magistrati and Giffoni Film Festival, will take place. The event will be open by the institutional greetings of Vincenzo Loia (Rector of the University of Salerno), Francesco Fasolino (Director of the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno), Giuseppe D’Angelo (President of the Didactic Council of the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno) and Antonio Tucci (Delegate to the Third Mission of the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno) and will be introduced by Teresa Russo (Associate Professor of European Union Law, Department of Legal Sciences, University of Salerno, Holder of the EUVALWEB Jean Monnet Chair), Gianluca Boiano (Head of the Campania Basilicata Molise Postal Police C.O.S.C.), Piero Rinaldi (President of the Giffoni Experience), Jacopo Gubitosi (General Director of the Giffoni Film Festival) and Maria Zambrano (Magistrate of the Court of Appeal of Salerno, President of the District Section of the Associazione Nazionale Magistrati of Salerno).
The mock trial will be featured by Annamaria Ferraiolo (Judge for Preliminary Investigations at the Court of Salerno), Federica Miraglia (Deputy Prosecutor in service at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Nocera Inferiore), Agostino Allegro (Lawyer at the Salerno Bar) and Roberta Manzo (Head of the Salerno Postal Police S.O.S.C.).
The mock trial will be followed by a debate with the students of the Department of Legal Sciences and the students of some high schools of Salerno.
