On 11 May 2023, the University of Salerno hosted the EUVALWEB Law Clinic conference on “Security Standards v. Human Rights Standards in Cross-Border Police and Judicial Cooperation“.
The purpose of the conference was, on the academic side, to understand how to correctly strike a balance between security and human rights protection needs (Session I). On the practitioners side, nonetheless, the speakers did shed light on the daily issues of prosecution and of digital investigations (Session II).
The Chair is also pleased with the participation of the audience to the debates held after both sessions.
