On Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., the debate/interview on “Cybersecurity” will take place in Aula 2 of the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Salerno. The event is organized by the EUVALWEB Legal Observatory within the framework of the legal clinic “EU Cooperation on Justice and Home Affairs: Insights.”
The guest speaker will be Roberta Manzo, Deputy Commissioner and Head of the Operational Section for Cybersecurity – Postal Police (SOCS) of Salerno, who will provide insights into the main challenges and perspectives in the field of cybersecurity, with particular attention to the role of institutions and cooperation at the European level.
The event will be introduced and moderated by Teresa Russo, Associate Professor of European Union Law at the Department of Legal Sciences of the University of Salerno and Director of the EUVALWEB Legal Observatory.
The meeting represents an important opportunity for dialogue between academia and operational institutions, with the aim of analyzing the most recent regulatory developments and strategies to counter cyber threats, with the active involvement of students who will prepare a series of questions for the guest speaker.
The organizing committee includes Dr. Stefano Busillo and Dr. Emanuele Vannata, young researchers of the EUVALWEB Legal Observatory, and Dr. Elisabetta Lambiase, Supervisor of the Young Observers of the EUVALWEB Legal Observatory.
